The talk at Liverpool is that Villa want to exchange Barry on a swap deal. Not sure who for, but I'd prefer it not to involve Crouch. Riise & Carson would be good though.

Pennant wont be going. Rafa likes his work rate and attitude, he asks to play for the reserves when not in the first team and is great helping out the younger players apparently, and to be fair when he's on form he's been good. Unfortunately this season after he got injured he never came back in time for the business end. Great display against Brum ast week though. With time and luck he'll be a regular for the first team. |

Such a one dimensional player. Liverpool wtf? He's English which helps with the CL quota. He's very reliable and definately better than any left sided midfielder we have fit. With Alonso a bit hit and miss in the back end of this season he's very, very good cover. He's played with Gerrard at every level since their youth. He can possibly be gotten for Carson (we bought for £500,000) plus a couple of mil. Not bad business if we get him. |

It seems that's the offer as Rafa has said he wants to keep Crouch and Riise has been bitching about his contract all day. Riise, Carson + a couple of mil for Barry I'd be happy with. |

If he's coming to play at CM then Lucas or Alonso is off and I doubt either will happen. |
