Hoy behave u lot. For watching footbal during the day i would say anywhere would be alright basically everywhere has pull down projector screens there's bar called the pacific which has bout 20 screens all over the place and is a nice bar.As for the nightlife i would say go to the gate its got 6/7 bars a club(which i wouldn't go to unless u like the corny music) and aspers casino which is good for out u like inc decent poker games. As for clubbing depends what music u like ?

Watching football that isn't Newcastle - not sure how much of a crowd you'll find but I quite like the Lodge at the top of Dene street. There is always the Sports Cafe, not far from the station either.
Night out's for me tend to end in Tiger Tiger at the gate. Blu bamboo in the Bigg market was a good student night but I've never been on a weekend!
Depends how you like your women and how you like to dress when your out.
For the record Newcastle must be one of the safest places to have a night out! Nice friendly people!!

I must have been hanging out on the wrong side of town. All hell broke loose while we were there.
