The following is an actual transcript from a meeting at Eastlands between Shinawatra and Sven Goran Ericksson:

Shinawatra: Come in, Sven, sit down.
Sven: Ok, thank you.
Shinawatra: I have one question for you and one question only.
Sven: Fire away.
Shinawatra: How far away are we from a team capable of winning the Premiership and challenging for the Champions League?
Sven (thinks for a minute and says): About 5 miles.
