Yes I have, but it doesn't allow me to watch what I've already missed unless I record it.

I'd complain if I were you - if even just to prove they don't listen to what you tell them is wrong - having spent 2 days trying to get my connection fixed I can tell you that Sky would give you some rubbish explanation and tell you to turn the set on and off a couple of times.

that isnt as daft as it sounds. one of the companies we deal with a currently developing a PVR which learns the type of programs you watch and the channels you watch them on, and will record stuff it thinks you will like. With hard drives in these machines of around a terabyte, space isnt really much of an issue.

Like TIVO? That's been around in the States for years.

not quite. this is a lot smarter. basically by having much more storage space it can be less picky about the programs it records. also by knowing more about the program (like mp3 tags except for tv/movies) it has a much better chance of choosing stuff that you will watch.
