Just watched a 'special' on them on tv. What utter drivel.

Who the hell buys this shit?

It frightens me that there are so many great bands that never make it, and yet this nonsense is all over radio and tv.

I thought their first album was alright and the rest of it has been pretty mediocre. There are lot more worthy cases to pick on in the music world than the Kaiser chiefs imo.

I am a little biased as I went to Uni with one of them, but I think you will find they will admit they are not breaking ground with their music, they went a certain way to sell music make money and do what they love doing for a living instead of working in bars and teaching for the rest of their lives.

Which is fair enough - I've paid to see them a couple of times and had a great night - they play good gig music.
