I'm looking at am item on ebay but am confused by the shipping costs. At the top it says:

Shipping: US $0.01 Expedited Int'l Flat Rate Shipping
Service to United Kingdom

It also has UK shipping down as $0.01 when you change your location to the UK.

But, within the page, it also reads:

***SHIPPING COST WILL BE DETERMINED AT AUCTIONS END DEPENDING ON THE WINNER'S SHIPPING LOCATION***


Can anyone shed any light on this. I'm confused. Is the shipping cost not $0.01 then? Is it a con?

message them, tell em where you are and ask how much it will be. You leave yourself open to getting bummed on the costs otherwise.

Does an email work as a proof. ie. they say it's $5 over email, then charge me $20.

it will do as they won't be able to get a bad mark against you if they up the price and you tell them to bollox.
