I bought an Samsung R700 Core Due T5850, 17" screen, 4Gb Ram, 250Gb Hard Drive etc etc etc etc for £650 on tuesday, well impressed so far.

i was gnna get sony AR71ZU but its out of stock for 2 months so i went for the samsung R710. got it yesterday! weeeeeeee...

The Dell Vostros are more aimed at business customers. Dell make some good stuff, but I'd go for Inspiron, Studio or XPS if they'll be
streaming porn
playing games. The 17" Studio laptops have a pretty good spec.
