i was gnna get sony AR71ZU but its out of stock for 2 months so i went for the samsung R710. got it yesterday! weeeeeeee...

The Dell Vostros are more aimed at business customers. Dell make some good stuff, but I'd go for Inspiron, Studio or XPS if they'll be streaming porn playing games. The 17" Studio laptops have a pretty good spec. This page, 3rd one along looks pretty useful. Decent video card in that one.

If it helps, I got emailed an offer code from Dell for 10% off any Vostro or XPS laptop over 499 ex vat. QHM3VV8CZTDCBD in the checkout screen. Although I've no idea if that is a personalised code or a general one. And it doesn't seem to include the Studio ones. YMMV, etc etc.
