This post made me chuckle, I had a list of things to do before I was 40 which only gives me 3 months to achieve them in. I'm probably going to have to amend it to list of things to do before I pop my clogs - even then it's looking slim.

The thing is, I have forgotten half of them, but of the ones I can remember they are as follows:

1) Write a book  (Crime Fiction - I started this, got to chapter 5, it's 'stored' somewhere but feck me if i can remember where)
2) See the Northern Lights
3) Stay at the playboy mansion
4) Play backgammon with Robbie Williams
5) Dance with Usher (Justin Timberlake is a close second)
6) *******************  better edit this one as Mother reads the boards but it involves Johny Depp and Uma Thurman
7) Get a tattoo
8  Go on an archealogical dig (how did I forget this one)

Number 7 is looking good for hitting the deadline though :-)

Have a great day tomorrow Sofa .,.,.,.,.,

As your Mum I know you so well and know exactly what you are thinking Michelle.

Life can begin at 40 it is what you make of it and keep young at heart.  Look at me, I am 31 years older than you Sofa and had a Ninetendo DS for my birthday this week and cannot put it down.  Not so exciting as what you want for your Birthday but just think when you get to my age there are still things that thrill you out there!

Sigh - use of FULL name means I'm in trouble

Yes mum, you may know what I am thinking BUT I know YOU and you're mentally substituting my two for Tom Jones and Mel Gibson
