Should've gone for Moyes

Would Zola be good enough, given what he's done to transform West Ham this season?

It would stink of Keegan/Shearer and Newcastle Utd or Hoddle and Tottenham and maybe many more "messiahs", but Zola loves attacking football and thats what Abramovich wants.

Zola hasn't proved himself yet (As he himself said). I think he's doing the smart thing by staying put for now and showing everyone that he is not just a one season wonder.

Why is he soo highly rated? He's done nothing in years. I guess at least the older players will be happy he's there now as they can expect to stay at the club until they're 40.

AC Milan won the Champs league in 2007!

With a team that was far from the best.

In 2007 Milan were awesome in Europe. I'd find it difficult to argue against them being the best side in it and they beat us in the final!

It pains me to say it but Inter are the best Italian team atm, and its not close.

Agree - the corruption scandal made that league worse than it already was. Inter aren't even in the top 6 European sides.

Article written on 30th May, before Ancelotti was even confirmed as manager.

Maybe an idea to find a more reliable source like The Daily Sport for example.

Because it was a shock that Ancelotti came to Chelsea?

Yeah but i wouldn't imagine that he was lining up deals on May30th, to swap a player that he hasn't even seen in training.
