the £100 comp tomorrow. will I be OK turning up half hour before it starts or will it have sold out by then? if so can I ring tonight and pay by debit card?
Try the latter Byron - turning up at 5.30 would be cutting it very fine.
But there's no chance of it starting at 6, as I fancy a lot of players will turn up at the last minute, & chaos will reign. 5pm should be OK, I'd have thought.
If I'd known this morning, I woulda paid you in myself - I did a bunch of buy-ins for Luton while I eas at The Vic.
damn, my one chance to grim tikay dashed
will give them a ring in a mo, ty

You might yet get the chance. I'm trying to ring a few Luton Regs, to see if I can get you bought in tonight.
I just rung Chompy, but he musta spotted my number, cos he bounced the Call. I've already grimmed him for £650, what's another £110.50 between ex-friends?

don't think you can ring in, though you can pay in advance at any grosvenor/G
Can't see it being a sell out with 300+ at dtd, though it was a sell out last year. Earlier you can get there the better I would suggest, if you haven't bought in advance
Do you think there will be enough dealers???

Don't worry, Jeff. i remember last year that Strummer turned up with his trainers on and they gave him some beautiful in-house smart black plastic shoes to wear. i'm sure they'll have some in your size !

I overheard one of the cardroom staff on the phone to a punter last night, and he was saying smart trainers are ok. I meant to query it afterwards, and forgot!

It started on time, DTD-stylee - on time to the second!
