Is there a way of archiving a website as it was at a certain date? Basically if I wanted to capture what a website was like before it got updated/revamped/shut down etc? Lets say i wanted to make a copy of the BBC website as it is right now, with all the news items, design etc that is on there this second?

Download Httrack: http://www.httrack.com/

It will download the HTML, the images, the stylesheets, etc., and store the site locally on your computer.   Not sure if it gets all the video, and it might struggle with some sites or elements of sites.

That's what you asked for, Dave Roll Eyes

Good luck if you want an archive for a site as it currently is using that as well.
