I have cracked a laptop screen and need to use it urgently.

Can i buy a cable so i can display it on another laptop screen?

Does that make sense?

and then you will usually need to toggle the screen options by pressing FUNCTION and F4 or F5 (it should have a picture of a monitor screen on the key - usually in blue)

Depending on the laptop's connection you might need an S-Video cable or HDMI cable to hook up to your TV

but the Function F4, F5 or in my case F8 is the toggle button to switch between
