Planning on heading to Ireland for the Irish winter festival in a couple of weeks and was just wondering if anybody had any information on the rake they take in the cash games.

Heard some varying stories on the juice, from 15% UNCAPPED!!! to 10% capped at 25euros etc etc. Just wondered if anyone who went last year could remember or anyone going this year had found out?

Ive tried ringing the Citywest hotel and Paddypower but neither are responsible for the cash games so werent too much use.

Cheers in advance.

Mitch.

After trawling through pages of info. I stumbled on this:

Quote
as provided by The Jackpot Club rake schedule is below.

    * €100 Game - €8 Per Person Per Half Hour
    * €250 Game - €13 Per Person Per Half Hour
    * €500 Game - €15 Per Person Per Half Hour
    * €1000 Game - €17 Per Person Per Half Hour
    * €2000 Game - €18 Per Person Per Half Hour
    * €2500 Game - €20 Per Person Per Half Hour

Have enquired to make sure that is correct and will post back here once I know for sure.

Asked and confirmed:

yea - thats official.

one thing to clarify is that a 100 game = 2/5 blinds etc. Just in case there is any confusion. The above is classified based on minimum buyin to the game.

Have another look.  I posted our query there this evening and got the answer from one of the organisers - 'Big City Banker'   Wink

yeh there is updates on paddypowerpoker.com

Got on the tv table for 1st 2 levels weeeeeeeeeeeee

No good in the end tho, lost a big pot in the 4th level that would have put me to 30k ish which is abover average for day 2 but thats tournys for u  Cry

Overnight leader is that Luke Marsh guy who won one of the biggies at DTD a few months back

Nice comp tho and some wild 2/5 games, might have to make it a regular trip.
