canaries in winter ?

My mate and his mrs go to Tenerife every new year and its definately warm enough then for lounging by the pool. I've been going in march for the past 5 years and my mrs says its warm .I sometimes pop out of the pub and it seems pleasant enough to me.

Was there (Lanzarote/Fuerteventura) beginning of Feb last year, it was hot in the day and perfectly pleasant at night.
