Great cartoon but always used to confuse me as a kid because the tv listings and BBC announcers would always refer to it as Boss Cat which obviously made no sense at all.
It was apparently due to a cat food of the time already being called top cat, which I only discovered many years later.........by which time I'd just about let the matter go.....
It bugged me so much that I think it warped my development.
