Quite simple really:

Can anyone recommend some decent speakers that will also charge the iphone without costing the earth please.

The wife has seen some by Bose which sounded great, but at £200 biff, I was unsure.  Tell us what you got or what I need to be looking for, and most importantly, what to avoid.

Avoid Bose - 5% product, 95% marketing.

Depends how much you want to spend. Coincidentally, there was a group test of "high end" IPhone speakers on the reg today. B&W Zeppelin supposed to be pretty good, and looks fantastic. I've got a fair bit of B&W AV kit myself, and they do make superb speakers.

Thanks for the link.  Some nice pieces of kit there, but the budget ain't gonna stretch to top end stuff.....was looking for more like "Best Budget" speakers etc.
