Posting on here as no replies in Live Poker section, think I used the incorrect Forum for this question....

Hello,

Has anyone visited the new River Card Room at Spielers / Westcliff Casino in Southen-on-Sea?  It had it's opening night on the 9th December and just wondering how it went.  I was meant to attend but could not make it, but I'm thinking of going down there in the new year.

I heard from someone tonight that it is lovely  - clean, great card room, good comps - lots of sita nd go's and I think a £100 F/O on Friday? (not sure on that one)
Apparently one down side is that valet service is poor - but I have always found that there - poker players get ignored - dont know why - i always tip!!
But all in all a great and much improved room.
