i actually dont mind it.

Level,surely ? By 4bet/folding where basically turning AK sooted into a bluff ?

The reg is going to be iso raising agains the initial fish but the fish is probs going to cal anyway? The reg wont expect us to 4bet fold so has to fold loads of hands that we beat but I think he shoves a pretty tight range. Whilst we absolutely crush the range of the fish that will play horribly oop to us.

We should call not 4 bet fold

Not got stove on this comp so its hard to post, but if the reg is raising pretty wide against the fish who is super wide, then he will only call/shove with a small part of his range. The fish will call with a huge part of his range and we will be in position against the fish. Obv life is never perfect and the fact the reg has a very good hand is just unfortunate and we  sigh fold. Obv calling the shove is fine and probably the line I would take but can see the logic and don't think its as bad as been made out itt.

or hes shoving super wide for value because he thinks youre punishing his iso limp? Depends on what level you stop this at. All I know is Im not 4 bet folding the top of my range in this situation

Surely all you know is youre not folding your value range then? Becuase you flat all hands you don't want to 4be fold except outright bluffs? And for as far as levels go, everybody ITT seems to think that competent (Neil has good stats and I'm sure the reg will know this) aren't 4bet folding value hands for all the reasons you and others have stated therefore we are actually one step ahead from the generic level that most people will think on.

Thank you all for confirming to me i made a bad fold. what makes it worse is that i actualy folded pretty quickly without much consideration.
