Mini Pools Thread

This is something they used/still do at the footy club I played for. Now that Last man standing has gone a little quiet, thought this would be a bit of fun.

Basically 6 games, I’ll choose a selection of something like 50% Prem/25% Championship/ 25% Scots Prem or something along those lines of weekend games, they’ll include 12.45pm/3pm & Sunday games. I will mainly include games, that on paper look fairly even rather than any bankers for obvious reasons.

All payments and selections to be made by 12 midday on the Saturday, I will put up each weeks games on the monday, so you will have all week to pay/select.

If there is no winner, it will rollover, I suspect the odds of winning acca to be between 80-1 & 250-1. If we go a period of weeks with no winner, and the general consensus is that ppl would prefer I will drop it to a 5 game acca.

It is £5 a line, a maximum of 2 lines a week per person. ANYBODY can join in at any time but they would have to pay £5 per week they’ve missed, plus whether they want 1 or 2 lines that week.

EG. Someone doesn’t play for the 1st 4 weeks, the jackpot is up to £500, they would have to pay £30 to join at that stage, with 2 lines, £25 for 1 line.

I don’t expect masses to play, but hopefully we could get 15+ the 1st couple of weeks for a bit of fun.

The games themselves need to be marked 1 for a home win, 2 for an away win, X for a draw.

Please quote the games I choose, with you selection next to it, on the thread, you can pay me at the start of the week, and leave you selection until the Saturday morning, but it has to be on the thread by 11:59:59am Saturday morning or your money swells the kitty and you cannot choose that week.

Bank transfer only please, so I can ship to winners easily enough without sorting funds all over the place.

Man City v Reading, FA Cup R6, 16:45 = ?

If we don’t get 10+ lines will probs knock it on the head and anyone who's paid I’ll send back.
