I went shopping in my local Asda this lunchtime and purchased a bottle of booze amongst other items, when I got to the checkout there was a very pleasant fortysomething lady who appeared to be management just standing in for a short time as a temporary cashier and when she scanned my bottle she asked me if I was over twenty-five years old.

She made my day.

The opposite for me.

Yesterday getting off the train, a young bloke offered to help me with my suitcase.

I am officially old.

Or he was just particularly helpful and considerate?  Maybe he was a fan?
