Playing the £75+£25 GUKPT bounty side event. This hand made me do a little sick and not sure if I was right or not. Keep in mind that this is a bounty comp, which does widen some peoples ranges due to the £25 bonus for stacking someone.

10 handed, 100/200/25 (first hand of the level)
Hero has 11k~, Average is 10k~.

UTG limps (from what I gather is a reg and friends with the DC crowd. Has been put in by someone else (dunno if relevant). Just entered a few hands ago and has 7.1k.

UTG+1 limps

Hero makes it 750 with AhKc from MP2

MP3 snap flats (tight woman, covers us)

HJ shoves for 3k (just lost house<quads for big pot, visibly tilted)

Folds to UTG who thinks for a while, looks very unhappy (definately unhappy with his spot, no false tells), then shoves.

UTG+1 folds. We...?

Thoughts... Not worried about the shorties shove, he's pretty tilted from losing the other hand and seemed eager to shove. Also if we're wrong, we profit if we win the side.

UTG is obv our problem. He seemed indecisive on his action. The range I initially had him on was AJo+, KQs, 88-JJ. Is this range ever really accurate? Am I not giving him enough credit?

The guy who shoves over tilting shortie can have everything from 77+ AQ+ IMO.

I call this as I reckon I'm ahead of his range and therefore could end up with a juicy sidepot.

Raise bigger pre, more like 1050. Snap now. What's with the AK snooze threads these days?

I have to sigh-agree with everything this fish says here. Snappy Snap-Call then cry when we've misread the 'UTG looks unhappy with his spot' for 'UTG tries to make himself look really unhappy, but can't wait to flip his AA'. Regardless, we're getting it in.

As Alex says, make it bigger pre.

I'm calling in this spot. Although I wouldn't overly be surprised to see us chopping with UTG, we're ahead far too often to be folding. Seems kind of unlikely he has AA or KK given the way you've described him.

You preflop raise looks weak as so small, so I would possibly give UTG a bit bigger range than normal, throw iin the £50 bounties in there mentioned above and snap it off !!!

How is the pre-flop raise small? Taking into account that there are antes 3.5X the BB seems about standard so this is slightly larger than standard, no?

There's two limpers. I'm making it 1025 or 1050. Something like that.
