Can Theresa May get any more incompetent? She says something completely untrue and utterly ridiculous to the Party Conference, something you´d think anybody with an IQ >60 would be able to work out wasn´t true having introduced the statement by saying "and I´m not making this up". Ken Clarke quite appropriately berates her for her terrible judgement and we´re led to believe he´s in trouble with party hierarchy.

The Conservative Party came to power as a laughing stock having failed to win the greatest open goal of an election in decades. Overall there do seem to be some (not many but some) positives to take from how this government are approaching their task in what are obviously difficult times. They really do need to get rid of Theresa May though who through sheer stupidity has overshadowed what was despite all the Party´s shortcomings a pretty succesful Conference.

Any idea what the cat was called?

Could come in useful elsewhere.

What's untrue about this:

Quote:
"But Judge Devitte stated unequivocally: ‘The evidence concerning the joint acquisition of Maya by the appellant and his partner reinforces my conclusion on the strength and quality of the family life that [the] appellant and his partner enjoy.’"

lol The Daily Mail the world´s most laughable "serious newspaper". Just read the article, it clearly isn´t true that this judgement was based in any meaningful way on the cat.

Isn't the problem for Clarke that he berated her and brought the story back into the lime light?

It´s not great from him and he´s been a bit of a loose cannon for circa 30 years but the ultimate blame for the whole shambles lies with her imo.
