Cl has been pretty aggro but not ultra maniacal, has 3b my opens a lot on the FT.

Is 4b/f here terrible?

What's the nut line ICM wise? fold pre? b/f?

i've got a feeling we should prolllly ... fold to the 3bet here? instinctivley i feel ICM wants us to fold but i know about as much about ICM as I do about biomedical sciences, im sure Jamming is somewhere near fine as well

pretty sure 4b folding is setting money on fire

Yeah, I did a little sick when he jammed. Thinking more now, 4b/c is nowhere near as bad as 4b/folding. Probably had decent equity with AK/AQ in his range, not that I had the balls to find out. Sigh.

Ended up 4b jamming pocket 3's with 20bigs BvB with the same chap. Calls with pocket 9's. Much worse ICM wise than the first hand I expect. He owned me, n/m.

jamming is better than 4b calling in this spot speficially i think, with the 2 smaller stacks we'd rather he fold A6/QJ etc

Stack sizes dictate that he is gonna own you every hand that he chooses

Decide before you open if you are prepared to get it in. Open, then 4b jam. You are playing to be exploited.

If you aren't happy getting it in with 88, open fold

In spots like this you need to decide your entire action before opening. Personally I'm happy to fold to the next blind level

This Opening/fold or 4b jamming are nut lines here. 4 betting to fold or to call are the poorest choices.

raise/fodl >>> raise/4bjam >>>> raise/4bsighcall>>>>raise4b fold

surely if we are making the decision pre then raise folding shouldnt be an option because the villain has basically already told us he is going to 3b us

Doesn't always happen that way tho. I probs raise/4 bet jam but don't mind raise/folding

I'd have to move my finger then tho?

Cheers for the replies all, really appreciate it.

I realised I should have thought this through pre as I was waiting for him to fold to my 4b.

'He's not is he?'. 'F#ck, I think he is'. 'Oh balls'. 'Damn you Russian maniacs'.
