When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down 'happy'. They told me i didn't understand the assignment, and I told them they didn't understand life.

On that note how 'stupid' do you have to be to hand out translation devices and ask journalists not to plug them in yet because they'd hear the private conversation?

Indeedy to both of the above. Remarkable restraint shown by french journos in holding back on the story for a while, in order not to embarrass their leader.
Major 'ouch' for Obama.

Yeah, it is quite a good one really. (Even though they said nothing new...well according to the Washington Post anyways

)
"Please don't listen in as we might say something unscripted"...brilliant.
