I was sat next to him one of the times we were playing, he was taking the piss out of me drinking my usual rose wine. He asked to try a sip of it, 4 or 5 hours later he was pretty pissed up after doing 5 or 6 glasses of it.
He was terrified his wife/ex-wife was going to come and find him playing, and had given instructions to the desk to say he wasn't there if she called up looking for him.
