Villian was 75% to steal and folding to 50% of 3 bets, the BB was running 4/0 over 30 hands. I semi-bluff raised same villian unsuccessfully earlier on the turn and have been quiet since then just showing down queens to double back up.
Given this I thought 3bing would show an immediate and significant profit, his flatting range oop should be tight and the A reduces the chance of my being 4b shipped on
The flat pre surprised me and on a paired board I thought there was no way he could check-fold much of anything he flatted with.
So i give up and then hit the 5 on the river.
