probs loads of threads about tv but

I wanna buy a tv  budget 750> just want a nice one
is it better to wait untill after crimbo

wait for a cheap three diamonds/led one?
also is back lit tvs worth paying extra for?

or shall i just get a massive 42" samsung for around 400.


btw its for a house in salford so need to consider getting robbed etc etc etc

I've got 2 of these. Not three diamonds but great for streaming movies and music from pc over WiFi or cat5 cable.
Quality is excellent.

My mum bought this tele for downstairs this week, such a good tele, pictures incred, cant recommend enough

Tried 3D the other day. Suspect the novelty might wear off. It's got depth obv, but I didn't find it immersive.
