3bet or fold pre imo.

guess it's hard for him to call with worse if you raise river, since your hand looks exactly like what it is..so flatting is ok.

yh, really cant call pre-flop, I know he is opening a ton of hands and prolly had a wide-ish range but A9o plays AWFULLY vs nearly any reaosnable range you can give him. Must be a fold preflop (or 3bet if you want)

I think i'd fold the river, it's obvious what we have and I can't imagine he's trying to make us fold it.

What would you call with pre?  a 10 suited a j? guess then you would be more likely to 3 bet

much more likely to call ATs cos it plays better postflop. It's a tough question to answer because its complex and depends on so much stuff, info/stats on the opener, how much you your self are 3betting, how squeeze happy the co/btn players are, how much the opener folds to 3bets and so on.

It's a question of building yourself ranges for each spot, have a range to call, fold, and raise based on all these things, and be preared to constantly adapt your ranges as you gain further information. It's impossible for me to say call X and Z fold Y and raise V etc as that mght not work for your style.

much more likely to call with A9s because we can flop draws and stuff (ATs even more so ofc)

A9 becomes part of the junky part of my 3b range sometimes. I prolly fold this quite a bit against this there, but throw in the odd 3b if i think he'll fold it, play really poorly on later streets etc
