Hard to believe there's been close to a 20 degree swing in just a few days.  Did this thing happen when we were kids?

Just seems so extreme at times these days.

Took my winter tyres off last week when it was 26 degrees.

This was pretty much locked in to happen.

joke weather.... Fml

Ooh! Where do you live, what weather have you got?

We have heavy rain here in Leicester but it's long over due. All the spring growth has been retarded because it's been so dry.

I think we were heading for a hosepipe ban too.

Hi Tom, i live just off the junction28 M1 in a little (village) called South Normanton its between Alfreton an Mansfield. I once heard that Tikay was from Alfreton not sure how true this is? Anyway i just didn't relise that we was expecting snow today and its just chucked spanner in the works... Should be gone tomorrow so all is good, as for the hosepipe ban who ever takes notice of that? Wink

Not quite, but I can understand why you thought or heard that. I live in Ilkeston, Derbyshire (when not in London), but I worked down the road from you at Bowmers (B & K) in Heage for around 20 years. We did a whole bunch of work locally, too, including all the new factories & production plants for Thorntons @ Somercotes, and that Sainsburys @ Ripley.

The annual highlight in Heage was "Well Dressing". Epic exciteaments!
