100NL 6max Zoom, awkward turn/river spot in 4b pot

Over 250ish hands villain is 27/22, 3betting 19.4. Played a hand with him yesterday where (~100bb effective) he 3bet AQs from the SB vs my open from CO, flatted my 4bet and c/r A83r (lol, wp etc).
Thoughts on everything, mainly turn/river (might be easier if I bet flop a little bigger)

Bet sizing on flop is fine.
Bet turn. Small again.
As played, toss a coin on the river. But you should call more often than fold.

checking turn is good imo, if he floats and we double barrel this turn he 100% folds. it looks like we're just giving up and can induce, everything worse that we get value from will bet anyway.

prolly doesn't matter as it's zoom but when we check the turn here it makes it really hard for us to bluff.

Why are we betting the flop if we don't want to get stacks in?
I don't think the river (
) changes things enough to alter this.

Perhaps a difference in style/philosophy more than anything... but I personally think that taking the stack-a-donk line (i.e. cbetting the flop then check-raising the turn) is generally a poor FPS line in today's online games. Even the more spewy regs have learned to pot control their mid strength hands and have at least partly cured their bet-when-checked-to-syndrome.

Yes I thought you'd say that lol... thing is the SPR is going to be such that c/c turn is not really realistic. Once villain bets turn he will never be folding anything with any equity (and probably not many of his bluff catchers either.. just in case etc) because of his zillion to one pot odds. Of course that would be a great argument for checking the turn if we think that villain is going to bet a high percentage of the time. But in my experience, most villains nowadays are checking back a ton of hands here. Your experience may differ of course.
