All the value places will have gone from the central strip within 10 years probably. We''ll probably be stuck paying $200 a room when that happens.

In 10 years $200 a room will prob be going rate for Harrahs
They're actually going to be opening another O'Sheas albeit not an exact replica as part of the new Linq project so all is not lost. I'll try to dig the article out that I read out before I start work later.

I was just messing around, I knew what you were getting at
There is the article there that says it will form part of the new Linq and hopefully they get a move on

It makes me lol everytime I go past that convenience store that is behind the flamingo/Bills. It has in a big letter sign outside above the door saying 'we have 25 years (or whatever) left on our lease and we are happy to serve you', they are obviously sticking one in the eye to Harrah's who clearly want the land but the store owners are obviously hanging on for a massive payout

Pity that the Italian restaurant around the corner from that shop is now closed ,it used to be a good meal in there ,plus it had a lot of character ,I had some good nights in there a few years ago .
Me and a mate had been in cheetahs all pm and often ended up in there half drunk , ended up double drunk with all the red wine u got with a dinner

I remember when I walked into O'Sheas for the first time. I had always thought that the most dangerous thing you could have in a place that has a 24-hour Happy Hour is a casino. But then I saw Vince Neil Ink...

That is a shame if that restaurant has closed, it had great character and lots of photos and memorabilia of old Vegas and its celebrities
