HI, wondering if anyone else has had this problem.

I recently went to log onto DTD online poker and a message stated the software had been updated. so I okay-ed the download of the new software.

It downloaded fine but when the software was supposed to open on completion a message from Norton Security stated that it had removed a threat from my computer.

The DTD software had been removed. I tried to download it another two times and the same thing happened.

Contacted Support and received a set of instructions about altering my firewall settings and if necessary turning off Norton altogether and downloading again. I am not keen to start changing my Security as I have never had to do this before either with DTD or any other poker software. (A little paranoid about that as I have had viruses in the past and had to reset my computer back to factory settings to get rid of them etc.)

Just wondered if anyone else has had similar problems.

i had the same problem...i deleted dtd then ran a full virus scan then restarted the pc and reloaded dtd.
it did happen twice in 2 days but since then (and doing the above twice) it has been fine.

i also deleted all my internet history and cookies etc the second time but that could be totally unrelated.

Poker software sometimes triggers false positives in antivirus software.

Just ignore it.
