100NL 6max Zoom: Awkward spots in 3bet pots

Finished a session where I feel like I spewed a bit, these are maybe some interestingish spots or spots where I feel I could've / should've done something different but maybe aren't that difficult. Apologies if this gets confusing with 3 different hands being reviewed in one thread

Hand 1:

I like every decision you make in this hand. Now call the river.

Preflop is close, and whether you 3bet or fold thIs hand would depend on how you have chosen to construct your ranges in this spot. Make sure you put some thought into your overall gameplan in this type of spot and ensure you understand your range and are comfortable with it.

What about flatting preflop? Well, this would usually be an adjustment based on specific game conditions. For example, the big blind is a weak player and/or the big blind is known to very rarely squeeze. You won't find as many spots to adjust like this in zoom as in normal poker. So you will usually be 3bet or fold in this spot since QTs is just slightly too weak to flat from the SB v a CO open without any extra things working for you.

Postflop is good. The reason for this is that this flop hits his range at least as hard as yours, and likely harder. So you will be doing a lot of check-folding on this flop type. It might feel as if by checking we are giving up EV right here and now to do spurious stuff like balancing our range. But this is just an illusion. On this flop our hand is of middling strength, it's not like we have the nuts. We are entitled to expect villain to bet this board a LOT when we check, so our balancing works nicely for value. And with the added equity of the straight redraw our hand plays beautifully as a check call.

The river has come beautifully for us because we can now expect villain to barrel this 'scare' card far too frequently. In actual fact he shouldn't do this because it is not actually a true scare card since it hits our range just as hard as his, plus we have shown strength by c/c twice. But I am pretty sure that a majority of multitabling regs will just think "oh lovely a scare card, this must be a good river jam right?" So with that in mind we should be delighted to check call the river.

Hand 2:

Again it depends on how you have chosen to construct your 3bet range in this spot. But I would venture to suggest that this is likely to be a little light. If it really works for you then fine, but be honest with yourself and really think about your range and how you play and how you are going to make a profit in this spot (by profit I mean losing less then the 1 SB you 'lose' by folding).

Flop is ok. Turn I would bet again. There are 3 reasons for this:

1. The Ace on the turn hits your range decently well.
2. You have turned equity.
3. You are unlikely to get raised on the turn, so can reasonably expect to get to realise this equity.

If you are unlucky enough to run into an opponent who takes lots of float flop, jam turn lines in 3bet pots then them's the breaks. But all this means is that you are unlucky not to have AK or suchlike here. It is probably bad for villain to have a raising range on this turn card.

Hand 3:

I have nothing especially interesting to say about this hand. I am sure others will though. All I'll say is that I would probably bet the turn.

Really dislike the 3bet in hand 2. A less than 100bb stack that limps the button is 100% a fish. So i don't like that you've inflated the pot oop with a terrible hand vs a guy who's never folding.
