Going to be there tomorrow for all races and will probably have a budget of around 150 to gamble with for i believe are the 6 races there.

If anyone has any helpful tips as to who to go for and what bets make each race interesting, rather than outright win, because I would always like a good sweat, then lemme know please.

For the week I would recommend...

1. Stick to runners in the 5-1 to 10-1 price range
2. In big fields over 7f-1m1f go with horses drawn in the bottom eight.
3. Year after year Mark Johnston cleans up here and expect him to again.
4. Stick with Richard Hannon in the nurseries.

None of that helps much for tomorrow tbf.

Think Frankel might win this week.

Cheers for advice. I am going to stick with a random strategy i have just thought of. Back all the best priced 8/1's I can find for each race dividing my money equally among them if there is more than one for each race. I am going to allot £25 for each race. If there are no 8/1's i am going for the next highest horse, so a 10/1 perhaps.

Strategy for a winner i tellsya. Will give you an update as to how this infallible strategy went.

@Tikay thanks for the concern, i actually despise going to the horses normally because i hate losing in bets that i have no knowledge over and i feel so at the whim of pure chance it's just frustrating to lose. Not sure why i feel that much more confident with football bets though! I am going to pure punt tomorrow and hope for luck.

Thought i would take the load off the betting tomorrow and just scan for the 8/1's now and place the bets.

So here they are...

Goodward - Tuesday 31st July

14.00 - Cai Shen                               8/1             Bet365                          £25
14.35 - Encke                                   10/1            Bodog                         $39.23 (£25 converted)
15.10 - Majestic Myles + Firebeam       both 8/1       Stan James/Bet365        £12.50/£12.50
15.45 - Lyric Ace                               8/1              Stan James                  £25
16.15 - Blessington                            8/1              Bet365                        £25
16.50 - Askaud                                  8/1              Stan James                 £25
17.25 - Cruisetothelimit                      9/1              Ladbrokes                    £25

I see the problem with the 15.10 bet if one of those horses comes in I am not even covering my total outlay of £150 wagered, but lets hope if I am to completely miss out on a winner, let it be at 15.10!

GANAS in the last at 14-1

i am sure of one thing it will not be 14-1 at the off

only unexposed runner in line up something might beat it but this starts 9-1 fav imo

have a good day lovely course to visit not so good to punt at Smiley

Ty.

I am going to be able to relax a bit more with all the betting done at home, i can then concentrate fully on making my mates lives a misery and encouraging them to chase losses with money they can't afford to lose and when they fail, exclaim it just wasn't their day, as i take a swig of a crisp beverage.

Tomorrow is going to be a good day.

Blessington was well backed before they pulled him out at Epsom last week and obv felt half decent for Johnny G

I have no real idea of what you are talking about Choppy and would like my ignorance of horse racing to remain before i think i am good at betting towards it. Smiley
