We were in the pub earlier and myself and 2 buddies have all got the day off and can get from our local boozer in Bath to Lords tomorrowfor £40 quid each return. Great day out and only £20 to get in too!

Do you guys reckon we would get in at 1150am? The fare nearly trebles if we leave earlier. Will 20,000 turn up or what?

And if anyone is going and wants to met for a beer gis a shout. Our lot will probably be 6 down when we get there but you never know! Strategically they have to go for the win to keep the number one spot so it will either be a day of sporting history or at the worst we can be in the Vic by lunch.

You'll be fine, the last days virtually never fill.

What a day that was!

I would recommend a day out at Lords cricket ground to all of you.

It's just sublime if you like a drink and can behave like a Gentleman.

I just thought the whole place was just a dream, as I have imagined since 7 years old and I ended up going up with 2 of my oldest mates too!

I'm jealous mate, I'm a massive cricket fan and I've been all over to see cricket, but I've never made the pilgrimage there (or got tickets to be more precise).

I've luckily been quite a few times, and its a fantastic day out, especially when its a full house.
As a county member (I'm Hampshire).......you can also get access to the Pavilion when county sides are playing. thumbs up
A few years back at a one day finals match, myself and a friend managed to get seats next to the pavilion gate and we couldn't wait to get home and watch the highlights,... with us standing up clapping batsman in and out. Cheesy
Also the Lords tour is well worth it. As long as its not a match day , you can visit the dressing rooms as well  Smiley
