My thoughts were he's probably folding 88-44 on the turn, perhaps not though. He may bet these anyway. He's obv betting a Ten, and will almost certainly bluff QJ, KJ KQ, 78 etc.

Similar applies for river. Thoughts?

I wouldn't normally try so hard, but didn't have another opportunity I could wait for. I wasn't ready to surrender what I WANTED SO MUCH, that easily, I couldn't guarantee a call with me staying stoic and relying on a flinch "top pair" calling reflex.

Yup for reasons stated

Bigger on flop though ~325 into 475? Doesn't change their calling ranges imo and this early in a .fr against randoms balance isn't important.

and 1650 on turn as played, if he has a T or a 78 QJ they just won't fold to bigger sizing from my experience.

If they do have draws and b/f river you've picked up more chips by increasing pot earlier and obv if he values his hand easier to get it in.

its funky but cool, most people wont be nitty and cehcking back tx here, will maximise your value. just sucks when they cehck back any overpairs that they may be flatting pre.

Best hope he has a T for stacking him.
A c/r of his river stabs with missed draws obvs gets some value if he's likely to fire.

Cant really say much without reads but the theory seems good.

Analysis seems fine. Although I would prefer to bet turn then check raise the river. If he has a draw you charge him on the turn and he may take a stab on the river. He is less likely to bluff the river after you check raise the turn as its pretty strong. If he has 10-x then he's calling turn and has to bet river and when you check raise river after betting turn feels more like a bluff than for value. He may fold 10-x if you check raise turn and river as its a super strong line and an overpair wouldn't play like that which u need to trp and represent to get value from 10-x

most people wont check back any form of ten here, especially good players, more likely to bet/fold than anything else.... obviously the fish are always gonna bet.
