Hey (is nobody goog to start giving me stick over this ffs)

I have a spot that is semi common and that everybody plays different so I'd like to discuss it a little bit.

Scenario:

- whale who we have very good reads on especially his bluff lines and this his value lives min raises utg. Fish is playing 80pc of hands, 0% fold to 3bet and is 4bettibg qq+.

- good reg makes it 6.5bb on the button. No real reads just reg.

- were in the big blind.

What should our callin range be here?

Secondly what does your super standard calling range look like here? Ie you don't think and just cawl.

Really interested in te replies here.

Is this six max?

Hating life oop so my calling range would be pretty tight. Worse is probably 99 and KQs. But even then not in love with getting involved.
Could be bad but I really hate multiway pots oop.

Any argument for reraising the reg?

Any argument for reraising the reg?

Any reg will recognise that we're re-isolating too frequently and if he's at least decent his adaptation will be to introduce a 5b bluff range rather than iso less often. This will probably result in us getting stacks in with A9o against a thinking player when all we really want to do is play a pot with a fish.

We're closing the action behind the reg postflop so that probably widens my standard calling range in this spot. How deep are we versus both?

I don't believe you've provided the requisite information to allow us to make an informed decision.

Stacks?

The more reads we have on the reg, and specifically on his tendencies vs such a specific rec player the more specific our strategys can be.

if he's not barrelling alot because the rec is peeling so wide and he's just got to be for value, he should be de-polarized and not cbetting as much etc, which allows us to peel more.

Needs reads on the reg etc to decide whether he's going after the rec wide enough and will have enough of a 4bF range for us to get super ool.

is the rec aggro post or just gonna park his mouse over the middle button and lol all the way to showdown?

edit we are all obviously consummate professionals so obviously we balance our timing tells, and our snap peel oop ranges...
