Anyone got it? Have got love film and netflix but have seen most the stuff I want to watch on those and was wondering if Now TV is much different and worth substituting one or both of the other streaming things I have.

not sure what they have on offer but the claim is the movies are 12 months before netflix and ilovefilms mainly due to them being allowed to stream films when they release them on the sky movies channels

Yeah you get On Demand stuff.  Not too bad, things to choose from in there for sure

Haven't tried what you're on about Woodsey.  Have heard it being advertised and thought it sounded decent.  Do they not offer a free trial?

Well I think they are ok, but you do run out of stuff to watch after a few months and there isn't enough new stuff being put on  to keep you interested.

yes i tried it a few weeks ago

the streaming was shocking (much worse than netflix e.t.c) the choice was very poor and the live chat support even admitted they were having problems with the service

i cancelled straight away seemed to me a real rush job

I can't see what difference it makes whether the films are one, two or three years old before you see them, they're still new to you.

Say I'm watching 3yo films and you're watching 1yo films. We will both have roughly the same number of 'New' films available to us in any given year.

Does that make sense?

Yes but I've seen all the 3+ year old films I want to see, so I need a site that is putting up new stuff fairly regularly.
