I desperately need to get fit so have signed up for this in may, giving me the motivation to get out running! Anyone done this before?

Looks good fun.  Can't do this year's but might give it a go next year as it's not far from me at all.  Doesn't look too extreme, but I bet it's interesting if the course is wet and muddy

The video on the site was taken on a nice day it looks like. Course looks good as does the atmosphere.

Yeh seems like the runners have a sense of humour but if u really want u can take it really serious. I just want to complete the bloody thing, that's my goal

That's the same atmosphere as with the Thunder Run event. Some taking it seriously and others enjoying themselves and happy to take part.

Definitely up for doing it next year. You'll have to give a report on how you get on and what it's like.
