checking the turn is meh, i prefer to bet and get three streets in this comp vs a random, ppl dont fold top pair, which is obviously way more likely than 2pair+

vs some people yes, vs some people no. not going to answer anymore specifically as I intend to play the GP tonight Cool

It's what happened, but it felt, post hand, that it was a too passive approach. Maybe I'm learning Smiley

What would we do if villain bets 8000 or so on the river?

I like the plan to check/r turn by others but in this comp I'm just going to try and get 3 streets

he meant once the A pops on the river, thats the aim.

but generally on the flop/turn we're looking to get 3 streets
