Feel like I shouldn't be going broke in frist hand of a SnG? Thought on any st's, all unknown players. no info.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, 1.5 Tournament, 10/20 Blinds (9 handed)

Button (t1,500)
SB (t1,500)
BB (t1,500)
UTG (t1,500)
UTG+1 (t1,500)
Hero (MP1) (t1,500)
MP2 (t1,500)
MP3 (t1,500)
CO (t1,500)

Hero's M: 50.00

Preflop: Hero is MP1 with Q, A
UTG calls t20, 1 fold, Hero bets t65, 3 folds, Button raises to t155, 2 folds, UTG calls t135, Hero calls t90

Flop: (t495) Q, 5, J (3 players)
UTG checks, Hero checks, Button checks

Turn: (t495) 8 (3 players)
UTG bets t120, Hero calls t120, Button raises to t320, UTG calls t200, Hero calls t200

River: (t1,455) 5 (3 players)
UTG bets t220, Hero calls t220, Button calls t220

Total pot: t2,115

Results below:
Button had K, K (two pair, Kings and fives).
UTG had 6, Q (two pair, Queens and fives).
Hero had Q, A (two pair, Queens and fives).
Outcome: Button won t2,115

going broke with AQ here in a 3 bet pre pot would be stupid

nost hands in UTG's range here beats you

and button could easy be sat here with top 2 or set

What stakes are these?  Fold preflop for me pal, people rarely 3bet worse pre in sgos especially pre ante.  as played should defo fold turn

It's a $1.50, I expect people can show up worse, but I'd actually even consider folding this pre to a single raise.

Trivial fold pre to the 3b in a sng, people just aren't 3b wide enough to call and in sngs there is massive value on playing tight early due to ICM considerations from the start.

The hand is an excellent representation of reverse implied odds, where you have called off a lot of your stack on one of the best flops for your hand.

Going to be lazy and go with this(save me articulating my opinions).
