Beyonce is one of the few actually VERY talented musicians around at the moment. An incredible performer and stage presence as well.

And Oh dat ass.

As good or better than U2 would you say?

They were one of the first who came to mind when I mentioned bands who start out great, but lose their magic along the way.  All that techno rubbish they came out with for a while there...geeeez!

It was in reference to Alex's thread, but I sort of agree with your point.  They did some excellent stuff in the 80s, I saw them live at Wembley in 1993 (I think) on their Zoo TV tour and it was an amazing concert. Great musicians, great show, they're all so far up their own arses though it's unbelievable.  Bono being the shining example of that.

Bono is so far up his own arse he comes back out his mouth. Cannot stand him. Shame really because U2 are v good and I think it takes it away from that
