The first problem is you put UTG on a very specific range of 1 or 2 hands because he did a limp. His range is obv wider than that anyways, yet if you consider he just lost most his chips and you don't know much about him, who really knows what his true range is now that tilt monkey disease has set in? So rather than wanting to play your hand vs his range you are playing your hand vs a specific holding that only makes up part of his range. This leads you to under rep your hand and hence any further action is inaccurate and doesn't really help clarify or confirm the strength of hands you're up against.
