Charger on my iPad has stopped working, last few days I've been charging it on my main PC which has worked fine but now the PC's stopped working as well, I run good right. So, I'm trying to charge it on my other PC, the iPad was totally dead but it's now at 4% but it says in the top right corner "not charging".

Anyone know how I fix this please ?

I can't charge my iPad via PC - the USB port doesn't deliver enough power.

What happens when you plug it into the mains?

Nothing, tried fuse etc which isn't the problem.

Yeah happened to me recently too, I have a work one also so tested it using the plug/cable from that. Turns out it was a problem with the cable not the plug, got a new one and am now sorted. You might not have the same problem, but that is what happened to me.

I assume it's the plug not the cable since I've charged it up with the cable via the newer PC.

Also whilst it says not charging it's gone from 4% to 6%, but that's in over an hour.

I wouldn't believe 4 and 6% battery charge amounts lol it's guessing.

have you tried plugging it in, unpluggin the cable then plugging it straight back in again.

not joking; i've done something to my iphone such that it never works first time I plug it in always starts charging second time though.

sounds like your ipads broken met xx

edit take it into the apple store, it may be pretentious but you get good service, and they often replace stuff if it's their fault.

That seems unlikely since it works with the PC, fool.

it works on the pc to charge, with the same cable that doesn't work on a plug socket?

and you said you'd checked the fuse and the plug socket etc. man you got a gammy problem brah.

best bet is to get a job at macdonalds and keep us all informed.
