$2.50 180 man in BB Vs Button min Raise

Button has only been on the table 15 Hands and has folded them all. Small Blind is 23/20/20 but only over 15 hands again. So not much info to go on.

What is my shoving range? I guess I can basically never call or it is worth considering the stop go. I have been playing pretty tight but have shoved once.

Well, if the opponent is bad he might not realise that he has to call with whatever he has opened with because you only have 8bb's. With that conclusion I am jamming as he might fold. What you are referring to is called a stop and go and it's pretty old school.

Yeah I know, it's what I actually did in the hand and it worked but looking back it feels pretty bad.

Personally I don't usually stop and go when a shove is for much more than a PSB, but it is still a viable move on occasion

You should jam pretty much what you're calling a shove with as you likely have zero FE. So definitely not broadways and any pair/ace. I'd prob be 44/KJ/A7 or so. Also helps to know from what he's folded actually got to him unopened etc.

This is the early stages of a 180 so whether there is still 150 people left or 100 people left it has no relevance at all to our decision making.
