This may be me being stupid just saying! but is the turn ever a fold didn't feel comfortable with my hand but didn't think I'm ever folding just thought I'd ask? Also this is a $2.50 so ppl spaz pretty bad

Why did you flat his minraise? There are 540 chips to be won at that moment in time out in the middle. And whilst it sucks getting stacked, especially to a limp/min3b I dont think this is a spot we have to worry about too much. We are going to be beat sometimes but we also pick up 1/3rd of our stack in non-showdown and can face a wide variety of hands that rofl it in.

As played I'm more worried on the turn then if the chips had gone in pre. I don't think I'd fold though, whilst theoretically we should be beat here, our opponent isn't singing from that hymn sheet. I think folding as played would be somewhere between pretty dam bad and horrifically bad. A decent hourly is achieved in these games by keeping things simple and playing quite a few tables.

thanks as said wasn't loving it but wasn't ever folding turn. As for pre pretty much was looking for that flop or a set get set over set etc and not get stacked by this guy limp/3betting with AQ sort of hands but i get what you mean was only 2 tabling though so

We,re going 6 ways though and that is pretty bad for our hand, just get it in with the overlay from the flatters, if we looked likely to go 3 ways I'd agree more with the flat

Remember as well he has all combos of AK and AQ in his range as well as under pairs. after limping, he could be raising either for what he thinks is for value or simply to ISO u pre with AQ+ 66-TT so there's a large chunk of his range that you are ahead of.

Holy shit I nearly panicked because I thought you were going to fold the turn, glad to see that you actually had the best hand and that I was right for once.


I have quite a bit of experience with $8/180's because I include them in my session in the mornings because I have slots free on my screen. I have discussed this with MC many times and I have a strict policy for never folding unless there is a good reason. I stick a 5bet in preflop because people just rofl round and click buttons in these, you don't need to make it big, just a click back so all the people behind you fold and that you get it HU with less than a pot bet on the flop.
