The bubble has just burst in the $4.40 8-max 1000 cap. We have mercilessly abused said bubble and our image is shot. The villain in this hand has only been sat on the table since the bubble burst, but has been on our table earlier. We have 75 hands on him and his stats are pretty weak - 26/12/10. Average chips is 30k.

WWYD? I was being railed by one of my backers (Neil) and we both felt it was a very tough spot and worthy of discussion here. FWIW we both came up with the same option at the end of it all!

I wouldn't normally try so hard, but didn't have another opportunity I could wait for. I wasn't ready to surrender what I WANTED SO MUCH, that easily, I couldn't guarantee a call with me staying stoic and relying on a flinch "top pair" calling reflex.

+1 to TL, feels like calling has some merits but stacksizes so awkward.

My standard line is to call the ss jam and probs fold to any other action preflop.

Defo folding now though.

Is he likely to bomb flop and turn? Will you get to showdown cheap given shortstack is all in?
I probs fold but sometimes may call opponent dependent. You have position.
