I caught this live: the dealer didn't physically turn the other players cards over but he used the international sign for turn your hand over and gestured to the player to turn his cards over. The other player was unsure if Pleno had checked but as the dealer was so sure, he turned his cards over as the dealer intimated the hand had reached showdown.

In my opinion there's no fair ruling in this spot as the other player hasn't made an error/mistake, all the culpability is with the dealer.

So many annoying things about UKIPT Marbella and this is one of them, they use the local Spanish dealers and the majority of them are pretty terrible.

Had 1 dealer call a floor after a 3 way all in where 2 players chopped the pot because he had no idea how to do it, the floor comes and he makes a mess of it

Had a few dealers with no idea how to split a pot and would count the full pot, attempt to manually calculate half of that and then try to count out 2x stacks of that

I saw 3 chip races and neither dealer knew how to do it, 1 dealer did it at the end of the day but before the last 4 hands

Also several instances of giving wrong change, counting chips incorrectly when counting/paying bets, moving the button several places.

Wouldnt be surprised if they botched this ruling at all, Id have had no confidence in the Spanish floors at all and wouldve asked for 1 of the UKIPT reg floormen if I was involved in an important ruling
