Some shocking scenes in Glasgow City Centre this afternoon.

A tragic accident involving a bin lorry killing 6 people.  I literally left work about an hour before this happened and where this incident started and finished is about 100 yards from my office and went straight to the bus-stop I use.

Thoughts and prayers to all involved.

An apalling tragedy.

Apparently, the lorry driver suffered a heart attack at the wheel.

Just over a year since that dreadful helicopter crash in Glasgow, too.

2 people killed right outside the Coral shop I would normally be in at lunch time.

The mood was so sombre today, I think many people still in shock and can't comprehend what has happened.

One of my colleagues who was in town yesterday with her kids finishing off Christmas shopping was saying how she had literally  crossed the road at Queen St were this all happened no more than 5 minutes before.
