School breaks up on Wednesday so flying to Buenos Aires on Thursday for a six week jaunt (back the day before school returns!)
Last continent of exploring for me, anyone been and got some good tips? Only going to Spanish speaking countries - Argentina, Chile, Bolivia, Paraguay and Uruguay is the plan at the moment, plus Iguazu Falls
All tips and opinions welcome!!!

iguazu is amazing, allow 2 whole days, one for brasilian side and one for argentinian. i would definetely do the brasilian side on the first day because the argentinian side is way more impressive(in my opinion).
i did meet people who disagreed with this. the bras side is probably prettier, whereas arg side has the raw power. the big fall is called devils throat, i would plan it so that is at the end of day 2. do not miss the speedboat trip on arg side, def one of the best times i had in 5 months of brasil. prob only topped by fluminense v flamengo in a full on mental maracana stadium. was with 2 mates who hate football and they still go on about it 10 years later!
bring snacks and drinks, things may well have changed but when we were there there was only one place to eat that was v v pricey and pretty poor in comparison to all the places we had eaten at anywhere in brasil.
in iguazu , you can take a very short bus trip into paraguay(10 mins), i didnt go but it is supposed to be really good for any electrical bits, cameras ipods etc.
cant help at all on south america im afraid, i had planned to do a similar trip to yours but i had so much fun in rio that i stayed there the whole time.mainly down to a young lady called valeria...
the last, and by far the most valuable tip i can give you is this.
BRING COLMANS MUSTARD.
i love steak, and i ate it pretty much every night, but all that the restaurants serve is that watery american muck that you normally get in a uk cinema. literally was driving me mad so i got my mate back home to send me my fix.
if you do end up going to brasil, post here and i will tell you some really lovely places. living with a local was the nuts.
have a great trip.

Amazing so far.
Seen Buenos Aires, wine tasting in Mendoza..... Then over to Chile for city life in Santiago, bright colours and cooking classes in Valparaiso and desert wandering and mountain climbing in the Andes..... Oh and I went to Bolivia and saw the Salar de Uyuni which must be one of the most incredible places on earth!
Sadly I have no idea how to upload pics directly to blonde from my iPhone

Open a Flickr account and stick them on there (it's free).
Glad it's going well, looking forward to seeing some pics

I was gonna say make sure you do the salt flats in Uyuni, agreed- abs incredible! If you can get to Peru it's really worth it. I'd rate it 1/7 of the countries I've been to in South America.
Bariloche in Argentina is stunning too (below). Hire a car and drive round the lakes and mountains - it's lush!
